An Accessible Tub-to-Shower Conversion for the Williams Family
The Williams family, an older couple on Cedar Lane, needed a bathroom remodel that would provide them with a more accessible and functional space. They were having difficulty stepping in and out of their bathtub, so EZ Bath stepped in to convert their tub into a safe and stylish walk-in shower. This quick, 3-day remodel focused on making their daily routines easier without sacrificing aesthetics.
Tub-to-Shower Conversion: Accessibility Meets Style
To accommodate the couple’s need for a more accessible solution, we removed their existing bathtub and replaced it with a new, easy-to-access shower. The walls were finished with our durable and beautiful White Travertine solid surface panels, creating a clean, classic look. For the base, we installed an Onyx shower pan in Bamboo, chosen for its strength and slip-resistant properties, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
Shower Sliding Glass Door: Practical and Elegant
To complete the transformation, we installed a chrome sliding glass shower door. This door featured a convenient towel bar on the outside, providing easy access to towels without having to step out of the shower. The sliding glass door was designed with top-mounted rollers, ensuring smooth operation and keeping the bottom track clear of debris, making it easier to maintain and more practical for daily use.
