The Green family’s bathroom on Oakwood Drive was in dire need of a refresh. Their existing bathtub had become overrun with mold and mildew, making it not only unsightly but a potential health hazard. EZ Bath stepped in to replace the problematic tub with a beautiful, accessible shower, ensuring the bathroom was safe, functional, and visually appealing once again.

The biggest concern in this project was the mold and mildew that had taken over the old bathtub. Thankfully, when we opened up the walls, the mold hadn’t spread to other areas of the home. Mold can cause significant damage if left untreated, but we were able to fully remediate the affected area, removing the mold and ensuring the space was safe and clean before moving forward with the remodel.
Tub-to-Shower Conversion: An Accessible Upgrade
The customer wanted to replace the bathtub with an accessible, low-profile shower base. We installed an Onyx Safari shower pan with Sierra Sand wall panels, creating a sleek and modern look. The shower was completed with a Delta Lahara series sliding glass door, providing ease of use and a polished finish. This transformation not only improved the bathroom’s appearance but also made it more functional for the family’s needs.
